Member Rules
Since member rules
are different than application rules, here they are. Violating any of these
rules could result in your removal from the club.
1. Above everything else, respect and be kind to all the other members
as well as the applying newbies. Keep things positive. If something happened
and you want to put a post about it that's fine. Talking or venting can lead
to healing. But taking the spin "Everyone hates me, my world is dark pit of
despair from which I will never escape" attitude, isn't ok. This would include
ripping into someone, telling people they don't know what real pain is because...
"insert some story that tries to one up the other person for bad day, week,
life etc", or basically throwing tantrums anytime someone doesn't see things
your way. We want people to have fun and enjoy coming here.
2. Keep your
cabinet updated when you trade. Nobody likes to see an empty cabinet.
3. Sign in and
post at least once every two weeks. If you know you are going to be gone longer
than that, leave a message on the boards telling how long you will be gone (and
where you are going would be nice too) so that the admin do not remove you from
the club and so that trades do not pile up on your trading board.
4. Actively
trade. If you've run out of members to trade with, that is a different story.
But trade at LEAST once every two weeks. Failure to do so will result in termination
from the club or demotion from active member to honorary.
5. You may only request AND take one trade per day. If you are checking in only once every two weeks please pick one day a week for people to ask you for trades (example: every other tuesday) and post it in your trading board . If people are only checking in every two weeks we don't want the trade flow to get bottle necked.
6. You may not put another member's doll in your cabinet without their consent to a trade. Doing so will be considered stealing that doll. Any theives will be emediatly terminated from the club.
7. All Trades must take place in the trade boards. You can not initiate or accept trades through instant messenger or outside boards. If you are found with a doll in your cabinet that has not been traded on the trading boards you will be asked to remove it and it will not count toward your trade count for limeted edition dolls.
8. You can not
initiate or accept trades from members who are banned. Even if they are your
"friend". This should be a given since all trades must take place
on the trade boards and a banned member can not access them, but I'm just throwing
it out there in case anyone was unclear.
9. If you no
longer wish to trade any more but want to remain part of the SEC community,
you may retire and become an Honorary Member. With this title, you are not bound
to the two-week posting rule as strictly and do not count in the member total.
If you ever wish to become a full member again, you get first dibs on open member
slots, but you must start your trading and LE collecting from scratch again.
you may post a link to your old cabinet in your new one if you wish.
10. Do not take
any LE dolls that you are not entitled to. If you are found with more le dolls
than you should have, you will be asked to remove them. Failure to do so will
be considered stealing and you will be terminated.
11. Please link
to your cabinet in any or all of the following ways on the boards:
link in your board signature
the website link in your profile (link directly to cabby)
make a thread in your exchange board and PIN it
12. All member dolls may be up to but no larger than 3.0 KB. All member dolls will be no more or less than 42x42 pixels. any dolls not meeting these requirements will have to be changed before a member can be accepted into the club.
13. All members must apply to be a member of the board. You must post an application in the forum for applications with this information:
14. You may not refuse a trade on the grounds that you "don't like the person" requesting the trade. It just leads to hurt feelings and rivalries both of which makes being here not fun.
